Grey Ghost, the flagship restaurant of Four Man Ladder Hospitality, is marking 10 years in Detroit with a special anniversary celebration. From July 18–27, the acclaimed Midtown/Brush Park restaurant will host 10 Days of Greatest Hits, featuring favorite dishes and cocktails from the past decade. Returning menu items include Fried Bologna, Chicago-Style Oysters, Smoked Whitefish Dip, and Jerk Wings, alongside popular cocktails such as Grandma’s Garden, Pretty Magic, and Effeneff. The celebration concludes on July 28 with a multi-course family-style Anniversary Dinner showcasing chefs from across Four Man Ladder Hospitality. Participating chefs include Joe Giacomino, John Vermiglio, and Anthony Patton (Grey Ghost), Rah-ed Ghuma (Second Best), Connor Maxwell-McCabe (Basan), and Eric Lees (Little Ghost). Since opening in 2016, Grey Ghost has earned a loyal following for its inventive cuisine, nationally recognized burger, award-winning cocktails, and welcoming Midwestern hospitality. Named after a legendary Prohibition-era rum-running pirate, Grey Ghost was founded by chefs John Vermiglio and Joe Giacomino, who brought their shared culinary vision from Chicago to Detroit. Together with David Vermiglio and bartender Will Lee, they opened the restaurant at 47 E. Watson Street in 2016. Over the years, Grey Ghost has helped shape Detroit’s dining scene while expanding into Four Man Ladder Hospitality, which now includes Second Best, Basan, and Little Ghost. “Ten years later, we’re incredibly grateful to the guests, team members, and city of Detroit that have supported us along the way,” says Vermiglio. “This anniversary is a celebration of everyone who has been part of our story.” Reservations for both the Greatest Hits menu and the July 28th Anniversary Dinner are now available via Res.
